With the end of the holiday rapidly looming it seemed high time to plan a day out.
The forecast was for a dryish day so we headed up the coast to Aberaeron.
Lunch at the Harbourmaster was Devine. My seafood risotto was amazing and MrAB had sea bream and coconut rice which was also delicious.
After a walk around the harbour and an icecream (you can’t come here and not have honey icecream) we drove inland to Llanachaeron.
We have visited the house before but it was more than ten years ago so there was lots more to enjoy today.
Last time we visited the stables were untennanted, the lake was under construction, just a digger in a hole and the gardens were less developed.
A good day out?
Yes, good food, sea air, walled gardens and historic property. Always a winning combination.
