Whilst the vegetable garden has care and attention lavished upon it the rest of the garden tends to be left to fend for itself.
But despite the weeds and benign neglect the roses always come back.
The yellow climber that straggles through the trees was first. It’s too high to prune so it’s left very much to do its own thing. Technically it shouldn’t really flower so well but it does.
I think it might be a Mermaid, but I’m not sure.
The very pale rose with the pinky tinge is next to the patio, it is scented and perfumes the air beautifully.
The tiny cluster roses haven’t come out yet, but they are covered in clusters of buds.
