Our little Tortie girl was killed on the road this evening.
A neighbour knocked on the door to say he’d found her – she was yards outside our gate. Probably on her way home.
The only good thing is it was instant.
Earlier that evening she’d been in the yard talking to us and shyly avoiding any physical contact.
She came to us last July with her brother – shy, scared, skinny and beautiful.
We thought we’d lose her last year when she had a tumour on her foot but she survived and thrived.
Poor TubbyTabby is going to miss her – this afternoon they were entwined on the patio washing each others’ faces.
