Splitting the difference

My two hanging basket were a gift (thanks Mum) and they’ve grown and thrived.

At the weekend I realised that now my tulips have died back and my winter pansies and violas faded I needed something to fill the gap.

I was about to go and buy some bedding plants when I realised that the hanging baskets were so crammed with plants they didn’t have room to thrive.

When I took them out they were root bound.

Seven lovely plants in each.

I put back two into each basket leaving me with ten healthy plants to fill my pots with.

Recycling at its best!
