Every spring I regret not planting more bulbs so this year (or perhaps that should say next year) I am determined things will be different.
The most difficult task wasn’t the planting but the choosing.
Today I planted two big bags of daffodils and narcissus along with tulips, croci and grape hyacinth.
I haven’t planted the hyacinth yet as I ran out of compost.
Usually I plant about thirty hyacinth bulbs but last year I realised that if is often cheaper to buy them in bud during December and January so I am only planting five bulbs.
